Ian Mortimer2024-01-15We’ve been bringing both of our cats here for 13+ years and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff are awesome & the rooms are great. They’re great at managing medications, picky eaters & grumpy cats until they settle. When they know your cats by name when you drop them off and you know that they’ll get time “outside” and contact time with the staff every day, you’re definitely less stressed when travelling.

I felt nervous leaving him after we had used another cattery before and were so disappointed I thought we'd never go on holiday again but Cooinda was so good, we have booked our Leo to stay there again at Easter and I have no hesitation recommending Cooinda Cat Resort to anyone.
Sarah S2023-11-17I first booked Cooinda because I have a very anxious cat who has had issues settling in at other catteries and doesn't do well with other cats. I thought the separated Premium accomodation would be a good fit and we trialed her for a week. I wasn't surprised to hear that she still hadn't settled and had lost some weight however I was happy to hear that they wanted to try her in the smaller (and cheaper) room next time so that she was not overwhelmed by space. Clearly the staff care about her wellbeing over money, and their honestly and compassion is what's kept me a return customer. My cat's been in twice since and on her last pick up her anxiety in the car has visibly improved and she has managed to maintain her weight through her stay. Unlike other catteries I've been to, Cooinda will also get my cat from the room fairly quickly on pick up - which is great as climbing a ladder with thick gloves to retrieve my cat from the top shelf of the room is the last thing I want to do at the end of my holiday!

And I don't agree with the below review, this resort is so careful about making sure cats are vaccinated before they enter. Thank you for caring for our boy, he is looking forward to his next stay in December ????
L W2023-08-23A great first experience with Cooinda Cat Resort recently. Our girl had never stayed in a resort/cattery before so we were a little nervous given she's fairly shy and has medications to be administered. She did actually end up visiting the vet hospital afew days into her trip because she wouldn't toilet however after some care there returned to the resort and picked up quickly. The team moved her to a smaller room in the hopes that it would make her more comfortable and they were right! They even refunded the difference without being asked and kept me updated via email. We will definitely use the resort again in future and highly recommend.
Josie Burke2023-08-12My two vaccinated cats stayed for a week Both came back sick. After 2 months still be treated for a mystery virus(cat flu) that won’t budge…not having to book specialists for antivirals… would not recommend at all Cats were healthy prior to this
